Community Participation

Community participation refers to the active involvement of individuals and groups in the decision-making processes that affect their lives and environments. This collaborative approach fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility among community members, enhancing the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.

Under the PM Shri program, students of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya LBSNAA, Mussoorie were given information about community participation. After this, a group of children was formed and taken to a small village where they were taught to work together and live together. Along with this, the people of that slum were also made aware about the evil practices prevalent in the society. The children made them aware about women’s education, gender inequality
