Welcome to website of KV Mussoorie. This Vidyalaya is situated near polo ground in the campus of LBSNAA, a prestigious institution where civil service officers are trained. This Vidyalaya was established way back in 1989 in a temporary accommodation & shifted to permanent building in 2003. Situated in apicturous foothills of Himalayas at a height of almost 5500 feet, It is cattering the educational need of children of employees of central government employees, I.T.B.P., local retired personnels& civilian population from nearby villages/town. Vidyalaya has single section from class I to V, 2 section each from class VI to X and all streams in class XI & XII.

The faculty of K.V. Mussoorie believes that if we want to draw best out of our students, we must have positive reinforcement for good work & good behavior with the philosophy that centers on praise, encouragement, fun and affection rather than criticism, fear & punishment and we all are striving hard to follow it.

Nevertheless nothing worthwhile can be achieved without a sense of discipline & therefore we expect high standard of discipline from our students to cherish the values of tolerance, compassion, fair play & team spirit with high level of optimism. We are working hard to develop such an institute that helps each child to nurture his/her own individuality and the special talent with which he/she was born so as to become a successful human being in life.
